New Delhi: A delegation from Cocroach Janta Party (CJP) met BJP national president JP Nadda and presented what it described as three "non-negotiable" demands, according to Saurav Das.
Speaking to the media, Saurav Das said, "We met JP Nadda twice. During the meeting, we stated our three demands. First, that Sonam Wangchuk be released immediately..."
"Second, we demand that Dharmendra Pradhan must resign; he should either be dismissed from the Cabinet or resign voluntarily. The protest will continue until his resignation is secured. Third, we demand compensation of Rs 1 crore for the families of the NEET aspirants, more than 20 of whom have lost their lives. We approached JP Nadda regarding these demands," he told media.
When asked if there were any additional demands, Saurav stated that Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation is non-negotiable.
No official statement on the demands or the outcome of the meeting had been issued by JP Nadda or the BJP at the time of writing.
According to CJP spokesperson, the discussion with the Modi-govt is going on from 11:50 AM.

"An initial verbal discussion was held in detail with their delegation, and they submitted a written petition to me around 4 PM. I have requested all the protesters to end their sit-in and assist the administration in restoring normalcy," the CJP spox added.
Earlier in afternoon, CJP said in a post on X, "Ashutosh Ranka and Saurav das, on behalf of the Cockroach Janta Party, are on our way to meet J.P. Nadda. The government had reached out for talks in the morning. Our demands are clear. The youth has gathered in huge numbers."
According to the police sources, more than 50 police and paramilitary personnel were injured in today's violence. Around 10 officers, including both IPS and DANIPS personnel. The police are registering multiple cases regarding the violence. Today, the police detained several protesters and individuals involved in the violence from various locations. The police will identify other individuals involved in the violence based on video footage, the sources stated.
