Gurugram: D2C Insider, a community of direct-to-consumer (D2C) founders, operators and startup professionals, on Saturday announced the launch of ConsumerX Ventures, an early-stage investment fund focused on consumer brands.

The fund, which is targeting a corpus of Rs 150 crore, will invest in pre-seed and seed-stage startups operating in the consumer sector.

According to the company, the fund aims to support founders during the initial stages of building their businesses, when access to institutional capital and operational support is often limited.

ConsumerX Ventures plans to back digitally native and emerging consumer brands across categories, with a focus on businesses catering to evolving consumption trends among Gen Z and consumers in smaller cities and towns.

The launch was announced during the D2C Insider Super Angels Annual Day event in Gurugram, which was attended by more than 120 founders, operators and investors from India's startup ecosystem.
