Trump, in the past, has expressed his displeasure over Israeli strike on Lebanon just before the completion of US-Iran memorandum of understanding (MoU) announced yesterday.

US President said that Israeli attack on Lebnon was "too much" adding that Netanyahu "has to be more responsible."

"[I] didn't like where two hours before we're signing the agreement that there was an attack in Lebanon, in Beirut," Trump said, reported CBS News.

Going further, Trump said, "So, now I'm not happy with the way Israel has handled themselves with Lebanon and with Hezbollah..... Israel would have been blown up a long time ago had I not gotten involved."

However, Trump stated that he and the Israeli PM share a great relationship and they are talking about some end details.

The Israeli military on Sunday stated that it has launched strikes on Lebanese capital targeting infrastructure of Iran-backed armed group Hezbollah. Smoke could be seen rising over the capital city Beirut. The office of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said the strikes were in response to Hezbollah attacks in northern Israel.

When Israel last struck the Beirut suburbs a week ago, Iran responded with strikes on Israel. Tehran, which is Hezbollah’s main backer, has insisted that any US-Iran ceasefire deal must also include an end to Israeli strikes in Lebanon.
