In a significant development in the Indian entertainment industry, a fire broke out on the set of the much-anticipated film 'Ramayana,' starring Ranbir Kapoor. The incident has raised concerns over safety protocols in film production, especially given the scale and complexity associated with such high-profile projects.
Details of the Fire Incident
The fire reportedly started in the early hours of the morning, leading to immediate evacuation of the crew and staff present on the set. Fortunately, there have been no reports of injuries or casualties. Firefighters from the local department were swiftly dispatched to the location, and they managed to contain the flames before they could spread to adjacent areas.
Set in a grand scale, the 'Ramayana' set was designed to recreate the historical and mythical elements of the epic. As production teams work on elaborate sets and special effects, incidents like this underscore the importance of stringent safety measures during filming.
While the cause of the fire is still under investigation, early reports suggest that it may have been linked to electrical faults, a common risk in high-stakes productions. Producers of the film are expected to release a statement addressing the incident and outlining their future safety protocols.
