Seattle: At least two people have been killed, while a dozen others have been injured in a mass shooting incident that took place at the iconic Space Needle in Seattle, United States.
The police has confirmed the shooting in a post on X, saying that there were multiple shooting victims near the Space Needle observation tower.
They added that the shots were fired during the bite of Seattle Summer Food Festival.
Reports even suggest that the Seattle police are expected to hold a news conference in some time.
Following this, Seattle mayor has thanked the police while adding that one suspect has been taken into custody following the incident.
Medical center has said that four people have been treated at the trauma center facility so far.
Seattle police say one suspect has been arrested and another remains at large following a shooting at a crowded food festival that killed three people.

Assistant Chief Tyrone Davis said detectives don't have any description of the outstanding suspect. Investigators believe the two were shooting at each other, and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
He said, "At 6:01 p.m., gunshots were heard. We had officers in the area, in the immediate area, when these gunshots went off. Officers responded and addressed one of the shooters. That person gave up and was taken into custody. There was another person that we believe that was also involved that fled the scene, and officers began an active search for that person."
"We discovered as we got to the scene that there were a total of seven victims that suffered gunshot wounds at the scene. Now we have a total of three fatalities out of those seven victims. This is a tragedy. I'm really sorry that this happened. The Bite of Seattle is a very positive event. We haven't had any issue in recent years," he added talking to reporters.
