New Delhi [India], June 21 : Former Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal has questioned the government over allegations related to missing funds connected with the Ram Mandir, asking why no First Information Report (FIR) has been registered despite claims involving crores of rupees.
Kejriwal has raised an issue demanding clarity on the handling of funds associated with the temple project. He questioned whether authorities were taking adequate steps to investigate the matter and ensure accountability or not.
Kejriwal raises questions over investigation
Arvind Kejriwal asked why there had been no police complaint or formal investigation if allegations of financial irregularities were serious. He said that any matter that involves public contributions and religious institutions should be examined transparently.
The AAP leader’s remarks have added a political angle to the controversy, with opposition leaders seeking answers from the government.
