New Delhi [India]: Fresh breaking developments have emerged from West Asia, with reports indicating that explosions were heard at a US airbase in Jordan.

According to the latest information, the Azraq airbase was hit by explosions following what are being described as Iranian missile strikes.

Iranian media has reported that explosions were heard in Jordan, marking another significant development in the ongoing regional tensions. The reports suggest that the situation continues to evolve as attacks are once again being reported.

The Iranian media reported that anything linked to the United States in the region and within the range of Iranian missiles remains vulnerable to attack. Iran has maintained this position since 28 February.

According to the reports the conflict appears to have returned to the stage it had reached during the second week of March. The assessment presented suggests that US-linked assets across the region are now under renewed threat.

According to the information provided, Iran has adopted a strategy of responding to every attack with strikes on US military bases.

The bases mentioned include the US Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, Al-Humar base in Kuwait, installations in Qatar, and the military base in Jordan. It was claimed that Iran is targeting US military assets throughout the region.

The report also stated that if the situation continues to deteriorate, Iran could expand the scope of its targets. It was claimed that civilian infrastructure linked to the United States could also come under attack if the conflict escalates further.

Among the examples cited were AWS services in Bahrain and an Adobe office in the UAE, which were described as having been hit. According to the information presented, Iran has indicated that the level of escalation will continue to rise if the current situation persists.

The assessment further suggested that the conflict is currently focused on military targets but could quickly shift toward civilian investments and infrastructure associated with the United States in the region. This would include headquarters of US companies and institutions linked to the United States, according to the statements made.

The developments have also raised concerns over the blurring of lines between military and civilian targets during the conflict. It was noted that in wars, civilian infrastructure often becomes a target over time, raising serious questions about what areas can still be considered safe from attack.

The situation in West Asia remains tense, with reports of explosions at the Azraq airbase in Jordan adding to growing concerns over the possibility of further escalation.

Meanwhile, CENTCOM has announced that American forces have carried out another wave of strikes against Iran, targeting Iranian military capabilities allegedly used to threaten vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
