New Delhi [India]: After the revelations of the UGC-NET paper leak, leader of opposition in Lok Sabha and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday once again targeted Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan of Narendra Modi-led BJP government, adding that expecting accountability is futile.
In a post on social media platform X, Gandhi wrote, "The entire country knows that expecting any accountability or action from the Prime Minister and the Education Minister is futile—no investigation will happen, nor will students get justice."
For context, just a few weeks after the NEET paper leak, reports emerged in media that a 100-page PDF was circulated right before the UGC-NET exam.
According to the media reports, nearly 90 questions in the PDF matched those from the actual Sociology question paper. The same question paper was being sold for ₹2.25 lakh in Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Delhi, and Rajasthan, Gandhi claimed in his X post.
The same network has also claimed to provide question papers for upcoming exams like CSIR-NET, HTET, and ADA, he wrote in the post.
Gandhi further added, "The only tool for change is our collective voice—the resounding echo of students across the country, which will bring about an education revolution in India."
It is worth noting that the National Testing Agency (NTA), which was established by the government to conduct free and fair examinations, has been caught in multiple mismanagements.

The students and political parties have alleged that about 20 exams have been leaked since 2017 and conducted under the testing body NTA.
More recently, the papers of NEET-UG examinations got leaked as the question papers closely matched the original paper.
After the paper leak, over 2.2 million candidates had to retake the exam on June 21.
