New Delhi [India]: The investigation into the murder of businessman Ketan Agarwal has taken a fresh turn after the driver who ferried Agarwal, his fiancée Siya Goyal, and their families to Mumbai airport for a planned pre-wedding shoot in Bali made key claims that are now being examined by investigators.
According to the driver, Vaibhav Jadav, Siya Goyal appeared reluctant to travel and allegedly argued with her brother, Sahil, during the journey from Pune.
He further claimed that Sahil had to persuade her to get into the vehicle after the trip began.
The driver told investigators that the group halted at a food court en route to Mumbai airport for tea and snacks.
During the stop, he alleged, Siya returned alone to the parked vehicle, saying she had forgotten something.
He claimed she removed certain belongings from the car and placed them in her pocket before rejoining the others.

The driver further stated that after he dropped the families at Mumbai airport, he received a phone call from Ketan Agarwal informing him that his passport was missing. Despite efforts, the passport could not be traced, forcing Agarwal to cancel the Bali trip as he was unable to board the international flight.
Ketan Agarwal's father has also alleged that the missing passport was not an accident but an act of sabotage.
According to him, Ketan had kept his passport, foreign currency, credit cards and other important documents together in a single pouch inside the vehicle.

He claimed that while all other family members received their passports at the airport, only Ketan's passport was missing.
The father also alleged that Siya had returned to the vehicle alone at the food court after saying she had forgotten her mobile phone, raising suspicions about the disappearance of the travel documents.
Police sources said investigators are probing whether Ketan's passport was deliberately removed during the journey, resulting in the cancellation of the Bali pre-wedding shoot.
The alleged disappearance of the passport and the aborted trip have now emerged as significant aspects of the broader murder investigation.
Investigators are verifying the driver's claims and other evidence as part of the ongoing probe.
Authorities have not yet publicly confirmed the allegations, and the investigation remains underway.
